Daily — the main event

Everyone in the world gets the same board each day. You're dealt 12 NFL team-and-era pairs; you make 9 picks — one legend at each of QB, RB, WR, WR, TE, OL, LB, DB, DL — and you may pass on up to 3 pairs. A sim then plays your roster's 17 games. Because the board is identical for everyone, a posted record is a real challenge: "I went 14–3, beat it" means something.

A new board appears every day at 4am Eastern, and your first completed run is the one that counts on that day's leaderboard — replays are practice and aren't posted. No account, no signup, free.

How to play

  1. Pick a mode on the home screen (Classic, Blind, or By Decade — explained below).
  2. Spin a team and an era. You'll be offered the real players who suited up for that team in that decade.
  3. Draft the best available at an open position. You fill nine spots: QB, RB, WR, WR, TE, OL, LB, DB, DL.
  4. Out of a good option? Use a re-spin to roll a new team or era.
  5. When all nine are filled, we simulate your season and reveal your win-loss record.
  6. Save your score to the leaderboard and share your team card to challenge friends.

The nine positions

FAQ

How are player ratings decided?

Ratings are era-adjusted gameplay values based on a player's peak level for that team in that decade — Hall-of-Famers and all-decade players rate highest, solid starters in the middle, role players lower.

How is my record simulated?

A deterministic model scores five phases of your roster (passing, rushing, receiving, front seven, secondary), blends overall strength with your weakest link, and maps the result to a 17-game record. Same roster, same record — every time. See the full breakdown →

Why isn't a certain player in the game?

We're always expanding the pool. If a player is missing or mis-rated, tell us at hello@go17and0.com and we'll add or fix them.

Is it free?

Yes — 17-0 is completely free to play.
